Plex Media Server not found - Quickbox

EDIT: Solved, the issue was with Firefox, after switching the Browser I could set up the Plex server without problems.

Hi, I installed Quickbox on a Debian 8 Server and used the dashboard for installing Plex. When trying to acces it I get the the “No server found” message. I already tried the SSH tunnel solution (Setting up an SSH Tunnel for Plex) and followed the instructions in this thread (Plex - Server not Found), but still got no success.

I am trying to connect from my Windows 7 system at home. Anyone got any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Should work, I just tried myself.

  1. do you have windows firewall enabled? if so, at least pass through port 8888.
  2. open internet explorer and browse to http://127.0.0.1:8888/web/ after step 1.
