I have an ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS installed through Virtualbox. I am trying to get shared folder access or at least access to smb shares. either one would work.
So Guest Additions were working before I installed QB but since I am getting an error on startup of server. Startup Error
Update 1: Also when i try to reinstall guest additions it says that I need the genric headers, but i already have them.
Update 2: I have now also restored before I installed QB and then reinstalled it and same problem. It works great before install of QB.
Update 3: So when i load ubuntu, i have the chance to go to advanced options. If I choose
Ubuntu, with Linux 4.4.0-98-generic, it works proerly
If I choose Ubuntu, with Linux 4.12.14-041214-generic it fails, any suggestions?
