Hello everyone, I have a fresh quickbox installation and I’m having trouble with the Spectrogram plugin for rtorrent… this error message is displayed while launching the web interface
spectrogram: Plugin will not work. rTorrent user can't access external program (sox).
I’m quite unexperienced using unix commands, don’t know what else to do apart from rebooting the machine and restarting the rtorrent service

I just disabled it. You can do that by looking in the Plugins ‘tab’ at the bottom panel of the Rutorrent Webui. the same area that shows details for the files and contains the file manager.

just made a fresh install for a friend of mine and the error is still there.

apt-get -yqq update; apt-get -yqq upgrade; apt-get -yqq install git lsb-release;
git clone https://github.com/QuickBox/QB /etc/QuickBox &&
bash /etc/QuickBox/setup/quickbox-setup
even box upgrade
Still ending up with:
spectrogram: Plugin will not work. rTorrent user can’t access external program (sox).
Do apt -y install sox then issue a restart to rtorrent.
I’ll add this as a plugin specific dependency on the installer later today.
