I’ve got some family members and friends that I want to give some kind of access to direct download from my server. I’m kind of curious as to what options might be best in that regard?
depends on how you want them to download things.
we have nextcloud which would work.
you could share your ftp login or create one for them.
I’m probably going to just create an FTP account for the purpose. I’m definitely aware of the options within QB like nextcloud. The purpose of this discussion was more to see if someone has any novel solutions that might be more appropriate for the less IT saavy people I’ll be sharing with.
