@kerbys, are you on Ubuntu or Debian. For some reason I cannot replicate any of these issues after the recent updates pushed. Also, are you on the new GitHub repo?

The installer now handles all of this for you. You should be able to simply box install plexrequests or install from the Package Management Center on the dashboard.
