Plex 503 Service Unavailable

Hello everybody,

I have a small issue with my Plex. When I try to access from it ftom the address SERVER_IP:31400/web/index.html it doesn’t work whereas the Androis App and Plex.tv/Web work.
I receive a 503 error page instead : “Service Unavailable - The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.”

I don’t think I changed something the few last days (yes because before, it was working seamlessly).
I already updated everything, I don’t know what else to do, so feel free to give me tips if you have some please :slight_smile:

Yes, I already activated the Remote Access and it was working… And the fact is while the SSH tunnel is conected I can access Plex from http://localhost:8888/web/index.html

If the remote access is enabled and your server connected to Plex’s servers, you should be able to access to your PMS.

Did you try http://YourIP:32400/web ? (instead of 31400)

Wow, thanks it was dead simple actually
Anyway to change the port on the QuickBox dashboard ? (i tried the other way : forcing port 31400 on Plex, but it’s not working - i don’t know how to open the port actually)

Nothing with port 31400 ?

Otherwise you can do this (one-line command) :

  • sed -i "s/31400*/32400/g" /srv/rutorrent/home/inc/config.php && sudo service apache2 restart
