First off, I’m using the community version of QuickBox. If the Pro version will help me achieve my goal easily, please let me know. I recently purchased a domain name to point to my home server. I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 server and quickbox. Nothing else has been installed. I’ve already configured the dns on the domain to point to my home ip. As of right now, it doesn’t matter if I use the main domain such as ‘domain.us’ or a subdomain ‘qb .domain. us’, the quickbox dashboard loads.
I want the QuickBox dashboard to only load if Im accessing ‘qb .domain. us’ so I can use the main domain for a website.
I’ve seen previous posts about this, but they appear to be old. I’ve followed them and still no matter what, the quickbox dashboard loads.
JMSolo did say he was going to look in to this and get back to me, but I know he’s busy. Has anyone else been able to achieve this? If so, what steps did you take?
