Let's encrypte - renewal certificate

a guru installed my quickbox encrypted by Let’s Encrype.
my certificate will expire but I can not renew it

I tried this page:

to renew I have to type: ./letsencrypt-auto renew in /opt/letsencrypt/

but the folder /opt/letsencrypt does not exist

I installed it according to the indications:
git clone https://github.com/letsencrypt/letsencrypt/opt/letsencrypt

but the ./letsencrypt-auto renew command returns:

No renewals were attempted

How can I must do Pleeease ?

Stop apache2 then run the renew script inside the folder that is in /root/ I can not recall off hand what names are for the folders but the cron job for older setups is invalid due to miss named folder which I beleave was fixed in a update bit did not fix the older installs if you would like you may send me your login and I will fix it for you. When I get home from work.

ok, thank you

i give my login on PM

solved and taken care of
