Is instalation + ubuntu a heavy install?

Hi
I made a fresh install of ubuntu 16 and quickbox.
I have 3tb vps, and i know that 3tb is not 3000GB.
But on my panel, without any torrent yet, it shows 124GB used.

Is this normal, or there a way to use that space on more torrent space?

normal and most certain related to a “reservation” done by Linux.
