How to get rutorrent to save outside the /home/USER/ folder
Edit /srv/rutorrent/conf/users/USER/config.php with the editor of your choice
change out
$topDirectory = '/home/USER/';
to
$topDirectory = '/';
Finish of by restarting rtorrent
systemctl restart [email protected]
