As the title states,
Can i install QuickBox on a RAID 1 server? The server is from Online.net

#2

Yes, there is no restriction on installing QuickBox on Raid0, Raid1, 10… etc etc. The only thing currently not supported “out of the box” is when there is no raid present on the server.

Sounds good.
Just installed QuickBox with raid 1. No problems with the installation.
But when i try to add a torrent at a size of 20GB rtorrents disconnects.
“No connection to rTorrent. Check if it is really running. Check $scgi_port and $scgi_host settings in config.php and scgi_port in rTorrent configuration file.”

#4

This sounds like it’s a bad torrent actually.

#5

Now it just say: "Failed to add torrent."
with 2 other torrents

#6

How are you attempting to add them. My personal server is in RAID1 and I just installed a fresh QuickBox this morning. Already have about 20 large torrents with no issue. Have you tried changing any settings? Anything you can think of you may had adjusted?

#7

The only thing i’ve changed was the Space widget. And something i fstab, because ‘setdisk’ command didnt work

#8

If you like, you can PM me and I will take a look. It’s quite possible that the issue is simply permissions related. Corrupt torrents have a nice warm and fuzzy effect on rtorrent.

#9

Sure. I’ll PM you with the details
