Allow public trackers?

Hello, for some reason I decided to block public trackers under installation on one of my servers. Now I would like to turn on public trackers.

I found a thread where it says I have to;
/etc/trackers (remove)
/etc/cron.daily/denypublic (remove)
/etc/hosts (clean up but do not totally remove)

But I can’t really find this. Where is it located and how do I access it? I was inside /etc but could not find anything.

Could you not find anyone of them under /etc?

hosts is there of course, but /etc/trackers and /etc/cron.daily/denypublic is not there

Then you should be good to go i think. If they are located in the /etc the public trackers will be blocked.
Have you tried using a public tracker?
